Instead of rewriting this basic info for everyone who signs up for sessions, I decided to make a page JUST FOR YOU guys to come and get a little extra knowledge on what else you need to be doing when you are NOT with me at the gym!
1) SUPPLEMENTS! I don't believe in recommending people take a bunch of crap! I think there are a few things, though, that MAY help you get results quicker and more efficiently! Everyone who lifts weights can benefit from a BCAA (amino acids) supp! (I personally love to drink bcaas DURING my workouts.) I have BODYTECH critical aminos (flavor: pineapple) right now, but there are MANY good ones out there to pick from! ALSO: protein powders! Whey is best for immediately AFTER your workout, and casein for before bed! (casein is a slow release protein that can feed your muscles while you sleep!)
I am also big on taking a fatburner, but only because I NEED CAFFEINE and I do not often drink coffee or energy drinks... I DO NOT recommend these for everyone, but if you have a good tolerance for stimulants and you wanna give one a whirl, try one but make sure you follow the bottle's directions, take it early in the morning and assess your reaction to it before taking any more! (I currently take one called ARSYN) ALSO: for fat burning effects, look for L-carnitine and CLA! (L carnitine helps preserve lean muscle while losing weight!) ** (these 2 are NOT stimulants!)**
Finally, make sure you are taking a good multi vitamin! Liquid multis are said to absorb better in the body, but most don't have great taste... LOL. Do your research! Find what works best FOR YOU! Talk to friends and see what they like, but remember, everyone's body is different ! DRINK A TON OF WATER!!! Add fresh organic lemons to water (esp in the mornings!) for detox effects! I have also been into doing a shot of apple cider vinegar/ water on an empty stomach in the morning !!!! (Soooo many great health benefits!! ---google it!!)
