so, i think i was supposed to wait a few more wks post babyto work out, but i couldn't take it anymore! lol i figured, since i was no longer bleeding, and i didn't require any stitches at the time of the baby's birth, why not start slowly and do a light full body circuit!
warm up: 5 min on arc trainer
lat pulldown....one warm up set at 40lbs , 3 working sets cranking it up to 70
(pre baby, i would start at 50 and kick it up to around 120lbs)
super set w/ the chest press machine....one warm up set at 30, then 3 working sets at 40lbs (yes, my chest is still super weak from never really hitting it hard after my boob job)
then i did some bis/tris/ side bends and walking lunges across the gym , w/ bi curls
2 sets of alt bi curls w/ 15/ 20lbs dbs (sets of 10 on ea arm )
2 sets of overhead tri ext w/ a 25lb db (15-20 reps)
side bends on back extension apparatus w/ an added twist for oblique activation
walking lunges w/ bi curls across room.
this was about a 45 min workout for me.
...AND I AM SORE TODAY! pecks as well as biceps! wahoooooo! i took today off but plan to hit some legs and shoulders and cardio tomorrow!
